A place to pause on the edge of the Pacific
Mountain View Guest House sits on a quiet stretch of coast in Old Harbor, one of the smallest and most remote communities in the Aleutian Islands. We opened our doors to offer travelers, researchers, and families a comfortable place to stay while experiencing the unspoiled beauty of the Bering Sea shoreline.
There is no rush here. No crowds. Just the rhythm of the tides, the sound of gulls overhead, and the mountains rising behind us in shades of green and grey. Whether you're here for a fishing trip, a wildlife excursion, or simply to slow down, we'll give you a clean room, a warm bed, and a view worth waking up for.
